Thermal Shot™ system with RunningMan™ moving target training     Laser Shot’s patented Thermal Shot™ Live-Fire Virtual Targetry System enables fully-immersive live-fire training using realistic virtual targetry displayed across entire target walls. Shooters using the Thermal Shot™ system enter a shoot house or similar combat environment equipped exactly as they would fight, and see projections of realistic, moving 3D virtual targets made to support tactical training.     Thermal Shot™ CQB shoot house training     Thermal Shot™ systems detect and measure the locations of bullet strikes on the shooting areas, and instantly map the strikes to the images. The computer responds immediately with depictions of death, wounding, chipping, splintering, or other realistic bullet impacts. After action reviews replay the scenarios to show the shot placement and can be augmented with video replay of the shooters’ movements. The advanced thermal core of the Thermal Shot™ live-fire Camera detects energy spikes with such precision that it allows for the use with all military and law enforcement standard caliber munitions used today. This also includes SESAMS training rounds and rounds from air powered weapons such as pellets and soft-air projectiles.

The Thermal Shot™ unique technology makes it compatible with any of Laser Shot’s courseware, including RunningMan™ and Virtual Battlespace 2. Thermal Shot™ is available as an all-inclusive training package, a custom package for live-fire shoot house/shooting range environments, or for those who already have a Laser Shot laser-based training system (MSET or LE package), a Thermal Shot™ add-on package. Thermal Shot™ enables separate or simultaneous laser and live-fire training when coupled with a laser detection camera.
