Based on the growing preference of the armed forces to use standardized and cost efficient ISO containers for buildings in MOUT facilities and training ranges, Laser Shot fabricates ISO sized ranges in a unique design. Unlike other firms in the industry who retrofit armor walls on the interior of an ISO container, Laser Shot’s modular buildings are built within ISO container dimensions, but entirely from armor plate. This modular method of construction creates more interior space, has greater strength, and is far more reconfigurable, re-locatable, and expandable.
All Laser Shot modular shooting ranges are completely safe shooting structures and may be built to accommodate any small arm munitions with no surface danger zone requirement. MSR shooting bays are created of AR500 NIJ III armor plate panels for the walls and ceilings and optionally the floor to provide a true 360º level of ballistic protection. These armor panels are created using state-of-the-art CNC water jet technology that cuts within tight .005” tolerances, thus minimizing welding and reducing heat affected zones (HAZ) that affect the ballistic properties of armor plate. Limited welding is also seen in the assembly of the building itself as the panels are formed together through a bolt-on modular design that utilizes armor flanges.
Laser Shot offers several different variations of the Modular Range:
| Quonset Range |

|
Laser Shot’s Quonset Shooting Range provides a spacious, 360 degree ballistically safe, multi-purpose shooting facility. A Quonset Range has many possible interior layouts and options to provide a range that is most beneficial to individual end user’s needs. |
